The Merriott Group has a facility located in the historic city of Rochester in Kent, known as ICM (Plastic Moulding) Limited.

This facility, in the south-east of England, started its life back in 1945. At that time it was producing machined insulating products, before branching out into producing moulded plastic components, a vital element of the Merriott Group.

The business itself moved to a purpose-built site, that it is currently residing in today, back in 1986. The site covers 40,000 sq. ft. divided into two production facilities, that each house the modern injection Thermoplastic presses seen today. The Kent site features production, material storage, finished goods, office and finishing/assembly space’s.

This facility is the home to 25 modern injection moulding machines, including brands such as Engle, Billon, Negri Bossi, Krauss Maffei and Boy. The clamping capacity of our injection moulding machines ranges from 25t to 1,100t, which enables us to produce mouldings from 1 gram to 4.5kgs, in a wide range of thermoplastic materials.

A keen eye to product quality and overall service, is driven by the ISO 9001.2015 requirements, to ensure that the facility provides a first- class service to all customers.

Along with our array of machinery, we also have an in-house tool room, which allows our team to carry out maintenance, repairs, modifications and refurbishments easily, safely and quickly. Having an in-house tool room means we can continue to meet the expectations of our valued customers.

The facility known as ICM (Plastic Moulding) Ltd in Kent, is a part of the larger Merriott Group, which focuses on the production of high-quality plastic components. The wealth of knowledge of the Merriott Group allows our team to support our extensive range of customers, and for the benefit of new potential clients.
